The Board of Marine Deck Officers announces that the program for July 2012 Marine Deck Officer Licensure Examination (Management Level – Master Mariner, Chief Mate and Operational Level – Officer In Charge of a Navigational Watch (OCI-NW) also known as July 2012 Marine Deck Officer Board Exam to be held on July 21 and 22, 2012 in Manila and Cebu City. This announcement is officially released by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Deadline of filing of application/registration for July 2012 Marine Deck Officer Licensure Examination (Management Level – Master Mariner, Chief Mate and Operational Level – Officer In Charge of a Navigational Watch (OCI-NW) is until June 21, 2012

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Your school/building assignment will be posted at the PRC premises two to three working days before the examination. Bring your Notice of Admission when you verify your school/building assignment. Visit your school/building assignment prior to the day of the examination.
2. Report to the school/building assignment before 6:30am on the first day of examination to verify your room and seat number. Be punctual, late examinees will not be admitted. Examination fee of absent examinees will be forfeited.
3. Examinees are required to wear the prescribed Merchant Marine uniform: White polo shirt with short sleeve and with prescribed Phil. Merchant Marine Shoulder Board; (b) Black Pants (not maong); (c) Plain black shoes with black shoe laces; (d)Plain black socks; and (e) No head gear and with proper hair cut.
4. Bring the following on examination day:

1. Notice of Admission
2. Official Receipt>
3. One piece metered-stamped window mailing envelope
4. Two or more pencils (No. 2)
5. Ball pens BLACK ink only
6. One piece long brown envelope
7. One piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)

5. The following are Prohibited inside the examination premises/rooms

1. Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/information/formula
2. PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATORS
3. CELLULAR PHONES, beepers, portable computers or similar gadgets/devices.
4. Bags of any kind (ladies bag, shoulder bags bags, attaché case, backpacks, etc.
5. Other examination aides not stated on this program shall not be brought inside the examination building.

6. Read carefully and follow the instruction on your Notice of Admission and EXAMINEES GUIDE.

NOTE: PRC will not be answerable for prohibited items that will be lost.
