The program of the Dental / Dentist or Dentistry (Performance) Licensure Examination also known as Dental / Dentist or Dentistry (Performance) Board Exam to be given by the Board of Dentistry held in Manila on December 8-11, 2011. This announcement is officially released by the Professional Regulation Comission (PRC).

10:00 AM – 12:00 NN | B. Fixed Partial Denture – (Typodont) Preparation of two abutments for reception of a Porcelain Fused to Metal Fixed Partial Denture |
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM | C. Removable Partial Denture: Survey and Design a Removable Partial Denture on the cast. Transfer Design and Write-down Laboratory Prescription on the Answer sheet. |

To submit after completion of the Complete Denture Exercise:
Task 1 Set a Diagnostic Casts (provided)
- With denture base outline
- With individual tray outline
- Fabricated individual trays
Task 2 Set of master Casts (provided)
- With denture base outline
- Fabricated record bases with occlusion rims
*** Present finished Task 1 and 2 to the proctor for notation in order for you to get the pre-mounted master casts for your Task 3
Task 3 Provided Articulator with Pre-Mounted Master Casts (represents the patient)
- Fit and adjust record bases and occlusion rims
- Establish the jaw relationships
- Record the centric jaw relation
Task 4 Mounting of the provided Master Casts using own Articulator
- Setting of Artificial Teeth
- Festooning
*** Transfer wax dentures on the Articulator with Pre-Mounted Casts for checking
Bring the following for the Complete Denture Exercise:
2 sets of Shellac base plates
6 pcs Pink waxes
1 articulator (non-adjustable)
Plaster of Paris
Hand instruments for setting artificial teeth
Alcohol lamp (and lighter/match)
Artificial Teeth – medium size, male
Plaster bowl and spatula
Bite wax
Note: Only Prescribed Dental Instruments and materials are allowed in the work area. Other objects not usually used in Dentistry will be confiscated and will be subject to disqualification.
IMPORTANT: Read carefully and understand the instructions before performing any exercise. Wear clinical gown.
